CABRA Folklore Culture präsentiert: VOTIA – Maloya aus La Réunion Freitag, 26. Juni 2026 | FRAME, Uferstrasse 80, 4057 Basel, in Kollaboration mit Salad Friday

CABRA sticht wieder in See. Nach Irland und Schottland liegt diesmal La Réunion am Horizont – eine Insel irgendwo zwischen Afrika, Madagaskar und Indien.

Der Abend findet neu im Rahmen des Salad-Friday-Events im FRAME statt – CABRA lädt zu einem besonderen Abend voller Maloya, gemeinsamem Essen und Gemeinschaft.

VOTIA, angeführt von der kraftvollen Stimme von Marie-Claude Philéas Lambert – Tochter der Maloya-Legende Gramoun Lélé – bringt eine Musik nach Basel, die tief in der Geschichte des Widerstands verwurzelt ist und gleichzeitig pure Lebensfreude verströmt. Polyphonie, Trance, Perkussion. Eine ganze Familie auf der Bühne. Ein Abend, der in die Beine und unter die Haut geht.

20:00 Uhr – CULTURE: Tea & Food, Salatbuffet von Salad Friday – bring deinen eigenen Salat aus deiner Heimat mit und teile ihn mit allen! 21:00 Uhr – KONZERT: VOTIA live Im Anschluss – JAM SESSION: Bringt eure eigenen Instrumente mit!

CABRA sets sail again. After Ireland and Scotland, La Réunion is now on the horizon – an island somewhere between Africa, Madagascar and India.

The evening now takes place as part of the Salad Friday event at FRAME – CABRA invites you to a special evening of Maloya, shared food and community.

VOTIA, led by the powerful voice of Marie-Claude Philéas Lambert – daughter of Maloya legend Gramoun Lélé – brings to Basel a music deeply rooted in the history of resistance, and overflowing with joy. Polyphony, trance, percussion. An entire family on stage. An evening that moves your feet and gets under your skin.

8:00 PM – CULTURE: Tea & Food, salad buffet by Salad Friday – bring your own salad from home and share it with everyone! 9:00 PM – CONCERT: VOTIA live Afterwards – JAM SESSION: bring your own instruments!

La soirée a désormais lieu dans le cadre de l'événement Salad Friday au FRAME – CABRA vous invite à une soirée unique de maloya, de repas partagé et de communauté.

VOTIA, mené par la voix puissante de Marie-Claude Philéas Lambert – fille de la légende du maloya Gramoun Lélé – apporte à Bâle une musique profondément ancrée dans l'histoire de la résistance, et débordante de joie de vivre. Polyphonies, transe, percussions. Toute une famille sur scène. Une soirée qui fait bouger les pieds et qui reste sous la peau.
