Walk for a Bloke meets Movember

Walk for a Bloke meets Movember is an informal evening in Zürich built around good food, laughter, conversation and connection, kindly hosted by our friends at Nüni, in the historic former SBB Werkstadt in Altstetten.

Men’s mental health often sits somewhere in our stories, but it is rarely the whole story. We are partners, friends, colleagues, sons and brothers. We laugh, work, worry, celebrate, get things wrong and try to make sense of life.

So this is not a seminar, a panel discussion or an evening of being talked at. It is first and foremost a great night out.

Your ticket includes freshly cooked Greek food, with both meat and vegetarian options, prepared by Nüni’s team with its strong Greek heritage. There’ll also be audience interaction, a raffle and a comedy set from Basel based comedian Teddy Hall, whose show SLAYBOY won Best Stand Up Comedy at the 2025 Reykjavík Fringe Festival.

Along the way, we’ll also make space for a few conversations that matter, share some of the practical support available to men in Switzerland and unveil a couple of new initiatives.

And because men’s mental health does not only affect men, the evening is open to everyone: women, partners, spouses, friends, colleagues and supporters are all very welcome. Coming with a partner, friend or colleague? You can book up to four tickets together. At least 25% of every ticket sold will be donated to Cancer Support Switzerland and the raffle proceeds will support Blokes & Black Dogs.

Who’s behind the night?
Walk for a Bloke meets Movember is hosted by Martin Coul, Walk for a Bloke Leader for Zug & Zürich. Walk for a Bloke is the flagship event of Spoke to a Bloke​​​​​​​, a men’s mental health charity founded in Australia that now brings men together in over 30 locations worldwide, all walking 25km on the same day. Next year’s walk is on Saturday 20 March 2027.

If the standard ticket price is a barrier, we’ve set aside 10% of tickets for just CHF19 on a first-come, first-served basis for anyone currently between roles, receiving support through a Sozialdienst or receiving IV support. Please contact Martin directly at martin@otii.io.
