Beschreibung
Bild: Thom Driver - Igneous Chorus
Köppels Videobeitrag zur Ausstellung basiert lose auf der amerikanischen Reality-TV-Serie «Keeping up with the Kardashians».

Walk & Talk
During the Walk & Talk through the exhibition «HAHA. Humour as an Artistic Strategy» at the Seitenwagen, the artists will offer personal insights into their work in conversation with the co-directors of the Dogo Residenz and with Céline Gaillard and Julia Gautschi from Kunst(Zeug)Haus. The artists taking part are: Dana Ferrari, Lily Pellaud and Lino Stirnimann. Thom Driver will join online from Amsterdam. The discussion will take place in German and English.
Following the discussion, there will be a screening of the third episode of Alice Köppel’s video work «Keeping up with the Köppels». Köppel’s video contribution to the exhibition is loosely based on the American reality TV series «Keeping up with the Kardashians». Over the course of three episodes, we take a look behind the façade of Alice Köppel, a superstar who is struggling with difficulties. Two years ago, she not only became famous overnight, but also became a canvas for society’s expectations. To round off the Walk & Talk, we will watch the third and final episode together.
