Bocconi Christmas Trip to Einsiedeln

Dear Bocconi Alumni,

Join us for a festive afternoon in the beautiful town of Einsiedeln, combining Swiss history, culture, Christmas traditions and, of course, wonderful Bocconi company!

We will begin with an exclusive 90-minute guided tour of the magnificent Einsiedeln Abbey, one of Switzerland’s most important pilgrimage sites. Our guided visit will include:

• An introduction to the fascinating history of Einsiedeln Abbey
• A guided tour of the impressive Abbey Church (Klosterkirche)
• A special visit to the historic Abbey Library (Stiftsbibliothek)

After immersing ourselves in centuries of history, we will enjoy the festive atmosphere of the Einsiedeln Christmas Market, with its beautifully decorated stalls and seasonal treats.

At 16:00, we will gather at the charming Hotel Restaurant Bären⁠ for a cosy Christmas apéro and early dinner together.

📍 14:00–15:30 | Guided tour of Einsiedeln Abbey, including the Abbey Library

🎄 15:30–16:00 | Explore the Einsiedeln Christmas Market

🥂 From 16:00 | Christmas apéro and early dinner at Restaurant Bären (at own costs)

Participation fee: CHF 20 per person for the guided tour. By registering, you also help create new opportunities through scholarships and tuition waivers for talented and deserving Bocconi students.

The fee includes the guided Abbey tour and a contribution supporting future Bocconi Alumni activities. Food and drinks at Restaurant Bären are at participants’ own expense.
