Technology makes life easier. But does easier always mean better?

We've optimized away almost every inconvenience in daily life. GPS gets us there faster, but who still knows their own city by feel? Algorithms recommend what we watch, eat, and buy before we've even had to think about it. AI helps us make decisions, create content, and get things done in seconds.

But what happens to the skills, instincts, and experiences we no longer need to rely on?

For this conversation, we're bringing together three perspectives on the relationship between technology and human experience:

- Dr Yasemin Tahris, organisational psychologist and Co-Founder of Flowit, will explore how AI is changing the way we think, make decisions, and lead.
- Liliana Lafranchi, photographer, music teacher, and improvisational theatre enthusiast, will explore the relationship between creativity and technology, and the importance of human connection in the creative process. She'll reflect on what happens when technology enters the space between people, and how it changes the way we create and experience art.
- Sanchit Rege, digital strategist at Hyatt Hotels and author of the Agile Dad Leader newsletter, where he connects lessons from parenthood with leadership at work and in life, will look at how technology is reshaping customer experiences, influencing our choices, and redefining what convenience means.

Together, we'll explore where technology genuinely makes our lives better, where it might be making us more passive, and what we risk losing when everything becomes effortless.

After our open conversation, we'll welcome Simone Junod for a presentation of her book, Is Your Mind Still Yours in the Age of AI?, followed by a networking apéro, a chance to continue the conversation, exchange perspectives, and connect with fellow curious minds.
