Alpha Centauri / ParterraFest 2027

Behind the triumphs of the Soviet space program lie lives that history left in the shadows. In Alpha Centauri, author and performer Alexander Plotnikov brings to the stage the tragic and largely forgotten stories of the men, women, and dogs sacrificed for the dream of conquering space. Blending documentary testimony with poetic imagination, the performance restores a human voice to those erased by time and ideology. Intimate, powerful, and deeply moving, Alpha Centauri invites us to look beyond heroic myths and remember the vulnerable destinies behind them. Performed in Russian with English and German subtitles.

As part of the Parterra Festival
