About the artist
Alejandra Abad is a Swiss–Ecuadorian artist whose work is a vivid exploration of self-expression. Influenced by music, dance, nature, and the wide spectrum of human experience, her paintings are infused with intensity, movement, and emotion. Alejandra has exhibited her work internationally, including in New York and Barcelona. In 2025, she presented her work in Saudi Arabia and in Miami at Soho House during Art Basel. Her work has also been featured in British Vogue, and she collaborated with On Shoes, marking important milestones in her artistic journey. Beyond her artistic achievements, Alejandra is deeply committed to creating a positive social impact. She supports the Association Cuisine Sans Frontières by donating a portion of her painting sales to Project El Fogón in the Ecuadorian Amazon Forest, an initiative that promotes education in gastronomy and tourism.
