Red Rum ahoy out of Nottingham, UK - bringing epic fantasy pirates and battle metal together! Guided by the entwined forces of Captain Davey Silver (lyrics) and First Mate Woods (music), they have an enchanting, captivating take on the pirate metal sound. Red Rum’s music is forged from the neoclassical, nordic folk, the truest of steel and the boundless sea. Their recent Quests have seen them on a headline tour of their 2023 album “Book of Legends” across the UK, as well as multiple appearances across the EU before bringing it back home to an overflowing audience at Bloodstock Festival 2024. CALAROOK
Wenn die fünf Piraten von Calarook die Bühne entern, bleibt kein Rumfass mehr voll. Mit Geige, Gitarre, Bass, Drums und Growling wird ein Pirate Metal erzeugt der zum Feiern, Moshen und Headbangen anregt. Vermischt mit Folk Metal Parts, Death Metal Walzen und manchmal einer Prise Blödsinn, entsteht ein Sound, der keinen ruhig stehen und nüchtern bleiben lässt. Nach der Gründung 2014 wurden eifrig Lieder geschrieben. Der Wind lag gut und bescherte ihnen sogar schon die Möglichkeit, ihr Können am Ragnarök Festival zu beweisen. Ihr Debüt Album “Surrender Or Die” wurde dann am 11. September 2020 veröffentlicht gefolgt von der EP “Cruel and Cold” am 21. April 2023. Es geht mit voller Fahrt voran!
