In this event, the music comes to life through the authentic sounds of the Rabab and
Dutar, ancient Afghan instruments whose voices have carried the stories of this land for
thousands of years. Their melodies have long expressed the culture, love, pain, and
identity of the Afghan people. Alongside them, the warm and soul pleasing rhythms of the

music.
The Tabla is performed by Mohammad Haroon Ebrahimi, born in October 2007 in Herat.
He began studying Tabla in childhood with Ustad Abdul Latif Amini, later continuing his
training in Frankfurt under Ustad Farid Banerjee. Despite his young age, Haroon’s playing
shows remarkable precision, musical maturity, and a deep sensitivity to rhythm, marking
him as a promising young artist in Afghan classical music.
After the political changes in Afghanistan and the rise of the Taliban, both musicians
relocated to Germany. Now based in Hessen, they continue to preserve, share, and honor
the musical heritage of their homeland through performance and cultural engagement.
