The Irish folk-pop export MONZI is all about the wonders of one daring to go beyond his own expectations. What began as the musical love child of Berlin-expat Simon Fagan and his longtime fellow and producer Christian Bringzen, has since the landing of the debut ‘Swings’ (released April 2025) turned into the full time lead project of mastermind Fagan, who has built a strong five-piece around his stunning vocal presence and lyrical swiftness. In the Luftschloss, MONZI will play a mix of songs off of the debut and the upcoming re-release of the lost ‘Gilded Bird’ album.

Das irische Folk-Pop-Projekt MONZI dreht sich ganz um das Überschreiten eigener Grenzen und welche Erfahrungen daraus das eigene Leben bereichern. Was als musikalisches Liebesprojekt des in Berlin lebenden Iren Simon Fagan und seines langjährigen Weggefährten und Produzenten Christian Bringzen begann, hat sich seit der Veröffentlichung des Debütalbums „Swings” (April 2025) zum Vollzeitprojekt von Mastermind Fagan entwickelt, der um seine kraftvolle Stimme und seine lyrische Wendigkeit herum eine starke fünfköpfige Band aufgebaut hat. Im Luftschloss wird MONZI eine Mischung aus Songs vom Debütalbums als auch von dem Material der bevorstehenden Neuauflage des verschollenen Albums „Gilded Bird“ spielen.
