You are kindly invited to an outdoor painting workshop this Thursday. The session begins at 6PM and lasts for 90 minutes in Rentenwiese park next to Zürichsee. Whether alone, with a lover or friends, we’d be delighted to save a seat for you. If you didn’t manage to grab a spot this time, keep an eye out for next sessions, announced soon. Please bring a blanket or towel as we will be sitting on grass.
What to expect?
- A painting station: a 20x20 cm canvas, brushes, pallette and acrylic paint.
- A painting subject: a bouquet of fresh flowers.
- A mentor: Melanie Starling is an experienced artist and painter, with a short introduction to her at the end of the event description.
- Leaving the session with an original painting in hand and a lovely story about meeting other warm and creative people from near and far.
All skill levels and styles are welcome, with Melanie at your disposal if you’d like skilled guidance and kind feedback. It is also completely fine to prefer to work meditatively without interruption. You are free to bring along some drinks or snacks of your choice - this afternoon is exclusively for your enjoyment.

From 2025, Melanie has devoted herself to acrylic painting - her central theme being the wonders and oddities of experiencing life as a human being. With Melanie's educational background in health and biology, art for her has been a place of retreat from the maximal precision and objectivity of STEM research.
