A rare chance to learn and sing traditional Yawanawá Saiti songs with Shawma in a guided online space.
Whether this is completely new to you or already close to your heart — you are welcome here. Singing along is warmly invited, never required.
These songs survived because elders kept them alive through years of suppression, and a younger generation chose to carry them forward. They come from the Amazon rainforest and are part of a living ceremonial tradition that is still sung today.
In this 75-minute class:

Who is Shawma?
Shawma is the son of Nixiwaka Biraci, elder of Mutum Village and keeper of this lineage. He grew up with these songs. What he shares is not just melody, but also the context, meaning, and tradition they carry. This class is hosted by Miro from Elysium Breathwork.
All profits from this class will go to support the Yawanawá.
