An advanced beginners 4-Fold Geometry Workshop, inspired by traditional Islamic art.
In this hands-on adv beginners workshop, using the 4-fold base pattern, you will step deeper into the geometry that moves beyond the basic lines and circles. You will learn about the various approaches to unlock the hidden pathways to create breathtaking, star-like petals. And understand why we will use the 'exact' method to create the 8-fold rosette motif, one of the crown jewels of classic Islamic art.
After mastering the geometry, you will construct, tesselate, paint/colour your rosette and proudly take home a finished mini artwork (20x20cm) in a frame!
- No math or art experience is required.
- No prior painting experience is required.
- This session is recommended for those who have done the 'Lines& Circles' workshop.
