Regenerative Living Zürich 5.0 — Exploring Regenerative Business & Finance

On May 6, AdvantikA and GreenUp are co-hosting Regenerative Living 5.0, an interactive, full-day experience, as part of Climate Week Zürich.

Taking place at Impact Hub Viadukt Bogen D+E, the event brings together 15+ leaders, investors, and changemakers to explore how regenerative thinking is reshaping business, finance and food systems.

The day is structured in three standalone yet complementary blocks:

🌱 Morning — Regenerative Business Models with focus on Food Systems
A thought-provoking session exploring how businesses can actively restore ecosystems and communities followed by co-creation Mastermind Circles on the future of food. 

💰 Afternoon — Transforming Finance
Presentations, discussions and co-creation sessions on financing nature-based solutions and redefining return on investment to include environmental and social value.

🎬 Evening — Purpose & Responsible Business
A film screening, quiz, and fireside conversation with Patagonia, exploring how purpose-driven companies operate in practice.

The Morning Programme (8.30 - 14.00) "FOOD" To Registration

Doors open at 8.15 AM for a pre-event coffee and croissant, after which GreenUp and AdvantikA hosts will kick off the day. With lessons and impact stories from Climate Hub Davos, we will set out the goals of the day together.

Session 1: Regeneration as a Business Model - focus Food 

Impulse Inputs and Interactive Panel - Do we always start regenerating the planet based on philanthropic principles, or can we start from business models? (How) Can we scale?

  • Case study impulse input by BlueYou’s Jonas Walker, “from regeneration project to lasting responsive business” on Selva Shrimp. 

  • Participative Panel with:

    • René Benguerel - CEO BlueYou

    • Vincent Doumeizel -  Founder of the Global Seaweed Coalition, Author

    • Barbara Dubach - Founder, Innovate 4 Nature

    • Thomas Høgenhaven - Managing Partner at Planetary Impact Ventures, PhD

    • Abigail Frankfort - World Resources Institute

    • Alexia Semov - Fair Carbon

In between sessions 1 and 2, a special performance from Soya the Cow awaits. 


Session 2: Food Systems Co-Creation

2 rounds of Mastermind Circles - How much are we truly saving in our current food systems, and how does it happen? Could a simple story of food savings open the door to thinking about regenerative food systems?

  • Round 1: Foodsaving, cases, innovations, approaches (several circles). Topics for the circles are pre-set based on input from the leading partners and participants.
  • ​In the first 10 minutes, you choose “your circle” and sharpen its focus. Each circle runs for 30 minutes. Afterwards, we have a break and swap for round 2.
  • Round 2: Future of food systems (several circles). Stweards:  Philipp Aeschlimann from Danone,  Abigail Frankfort from the World Resources Institute, and Saba Sandahl from Bakery Bakery

After our co-creation, we come back to the central and share learnings, before we jointly move to the Lunch. ​​
 

LUNCH: 12.30 - 14.00

A wonderful, sustainable, and local lunch awaits all-day participants to enjoy inside BOGEN D & E as well as outside, weather permitting. If you join us for only the morning or the afternoon, your lunch is also included.
