HSG MBA Class of 2016 10 Year Reunion

As unbelievable as it might seem, it has now been ten years since we graduated from om the HSG, back in summer 2016. Time has flown, we all have grown, and it's high time for a reunion.

The Plan: Friday 18th September 

After many, many attempted WhatsApp group calls, Katy, Chris and Nico have finally put together the class reunion of your dreams. It begins at the KV Zurich, home to many a happy memory of school days gone by, or at least one or two modules that you may or may not have deleted from your brain by now. We get it, it's been ages. We shall assemble there from 4:30pm, drink an Apero, and sit down for some serious organised catching up. More on that below.

From the KV, we head to Texas. Well, to Brisket, which is sort of like Texas but in Switzerland. We will be honest, it's meat-heavy BUT there are vegetarian options available (mostly cheese-based) and, if you are vegan, let us know so we can make sure you get more than just salad. There may even be beans. But, whether you choose to gorge on BBQ or just sip bourbon-based drinks all night, the point is this: We will be all together and it will be GREAT.

Where the night takes us after that remains to be seen (Chris certainly has some ideas). This is where the ticket ends - the KV, dinner and drinks will be covered. After that, you're flying solo.

Saturday 19th September: Not included in ticket

Saturday morning, weather permitting, we are going on a small hike up for lunch at Uto Kulm on Uetliberg. Once we have the final group numbers then we can reserve a table. This will be at your own expense and is totally optional.

Saturday evening marks the official HSG MBA homecoming event. We will all reassemble there for another evening of reconnecting, reminiscing and reigniting (thank you ChatGPT for the amazing and appropriate alliteration). Again, this event is separate and you will need to buy your ticket from the official homecoming event page.

So what happens at the KV Zurich?

A lot can happen in ten years. A lot HAS happened in ten years. And we want you to share it with us. In a nutshell. In advance of the event, we will be taking a trip down memory lane with another VIDEO ASSIGNMENT. In this video, we want to know what happened to you, your career, your family, your post-MBA aspirations of grandness… all of it. What did you do? What didn't you do? What was the impact of the MBA? What have you learned since then? All in one minute.

How exactly this works is fully up to you. But everyone (even those who can't make it) should record and send us their videos before the reunion. Exact logistics and shared folders to follow in good time. We are also excited to welcome a SURPRISE guest. If you want to know who, you'll have to come.

We hope you are fully on board and we really can't wait for this event. The more of you attend, the greater it will be!
