Wir wollen danach suchen, das Prozessuale zelebrieren, Kompliz:innen werden, das Visuelle weniger als Entsprechung des Textes behandeln, sondern Text- und Bildebene als eigenständige Erzählungen verstehen, die durch ein Über-sich-selbst-sprechen etwas über das jeweils andere erzählen können.
paula van well’s MUNDWERKE explore how a queer-ecological perspective can be expressed through both content and form, focusing on the theme of the oral cavity – as a site of pleasure, queerness, violence, and the environment. What (abstract or concrete) places or sites interest you? What does it have to say? What morphs, proliferates, moves there? How does it change? We want to search for the story, celebrate the processual, become accomplices, treat the visual less as a counterpart to the text, but rather understand the textual and visual levels as independent narratives that, by speaking about themselves, can tell us something about the other.
