In this calming, hands-on evening workshop, you’ll learn the art of Kintsugi-style repair — the Japanese-inspired technique of celebrating cracks and breaks by highlighting them in shimmering gold. Instead of hiding imperfections, you’ll turn them into the most striking part of the piece.

You’ll make your own Kintsugi-style decorative dish (like the photo): bold, modern, and completely unique — perfect as a jewellery dish, trinket tray, candle plate, or statement piece for your coffee table. Whether you love interiors, mindful crafts, or simply want a gorgeous night out, this workshop is the perfect mix of creativity and relaxation.

What you’ll do

With guidance throughout, you’ll:

• Learn the principles and story behind Kintsugi and why it’s such a meaningful craft

• Assemble and repair broken ceramic pieces into a new dish form

• Create those signature “gold seams” using a Kintsugi-style finishing method

• Refine and finish your piece so it looks polished and display-worthy

• Leave with a finished dish you’ll be proud to use or gift

No experience needed — this is designed for total beginners. You’ll be shown each step clearly, and there’s plenty of time to ask questions and get help with your design.
