Zürich Moon Circle - Samhain Taurus Full Moon: Get Witchy!

SAMHAIN × TAURUS FULL MOON
Friday 30 October · 19:00ish-21:00ish
ATMAN Studio, Hotel Greulich, Zürich

It’s Halloween eve and we are getting witchy!

This is a night to have some fun with our own power, make something with our hands, trust a little of what we notice, remember who and what matters to us, and give our desires some attention without immediately asking whether they’re reasonable.

And have a proper cackle while we’re at it.

THE MOON

The Taurus Full Moon peaks on 26 October, opposite the Scorpio Sun. Taurus brings questions of pleasure, security, the body and what we value. Scorpio brings attachment, intimacy, loss and change.

Pluto makes a tense angle to both, which sharpens the question of power: who gets to define your body, your desires and what belongs to you?

By Friday the Moon is waning in Cancer, her own sign, so memory, intuition, belonging and protection get pulled into the conversation. The people we miss, what feels like home, what we want to keep close, and what looking after ourselves might actually require.

SAMHAIN

Samhain is a Gaelic seasonal festival marking the turn towards winter, associated with remembrance, divination and the relationship between the living and the dead.

The clocks have gone back and Halloween is the following night, so we’ll make space for the mystery of this time of year: remembering, listening and exploring our own perception. You can come at it spiritually, imaginatively, with curiosity or with a heap of questions, and there’s room for all of it.

WHAT WE’RE DOING

• Practical astrology
• Gently guided somatic release through movement and sound
• Cackle yoga (laughing yoga but witchier!!)
• Telling a few things to fuck off
• A guided meditation
• Creative ritual
• Wand-making
• A personal spell for something that matters to YOU (protection, pleasure, courage, a change you want to make, you decide)
• Honouring the Moon and bringing our voices together for the wider world too, because care, solidarity and refusing to become indifferent belong in the room as well

Expect mischief, sensuality, remembrance and a little darkness. Bangin’ music, a dance party, and space to take this seriously and enjoy yourself.

WHAT IS ZÜRICH MOON CIRCLE?

A gathering for women and femmes who want real connection with themselves, with each other, and with the cycles that shape our lives.

It’s for the spiritually curious, the spiritually fatigued, or anyone tired of chasing the next promise of transformation. We use astrology as a lens, not a rulebook.

Each circle is shaped by the astrology, the people who come and what’s true for us in the moment. Come on your own or with a friend.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW

You choose how you participate. Sharing is optional, movement can be adapted, and resting or listening are welcome.

The guided practice may include remembrance and invitations to explore personally meaningful presences. You choose what to engage with. No particular belief, sensation or spiritual encounter is expected.

WHAT TO BRING

A journal, pen, water bottle and clothes you can move comfortably in. Creative materials are provided.

Wear black, wear your witchiest lipstick, dress up: if you fancy it. Comfort still counts!

FACILITATED BY PIA SIMONA

I’m an astrologer, somatic release practitioner and circle facilitator. My work brings together practical astrology, embodiment, ritual, creativity, multi-sensory perception and real talk. The guiding thread is empowerment through authenticity: opportunities to connect with yourself and other people while having the choice to be exactly where and who you are.
