AI & Social Media: Between Fascination and Responsibility

Artificial intelligence and social media have long been part of our everyday lives. How can we design this digital world so that it connects rather than divides, and informs rather than manipulates? This evening, we will explore this question together.

Prof Dr Anna Zeiter is CEO of W Social, the new European answer to Elon Musks' X. The platform is developed, hosted and funded in Europe. It relies on verified users rather than anonymous bots and is guided by the fundamental questions of journalism. Its aim is a feed people can trust, with relevant, fact-based content. This October, she will receive an award for her forward-looking project.

Uwe Hübner is a partner at Logiscool and an entrepreneur with a focus on AI in education and business. Logiscool is an international school for programming, AI and digital skills, with more than 160 locations in over 30 countries. Here, young people become not just players but creators: they programme their own games and engage with AI from an early age. In the new ‘Digital Intelligence’ courses, they learn to use AI competently, examine it critically and apply it responsibly. Not only important for them but also for us.
