The Beast, Basel’s first ever dedicated comedy club, is proud to showcase how much fantastic comedy talent there is in Switzerland. Headline Act
Since 2017 Teddy Hall has been performing all over Europe. Presenting a uniquely introspective and self-reflective brand of comedy, Teddy's raw and authentic style has lead to him headlining shows across Europe and featuring on television in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, and Romania, followed by selling out shows of over 100 seats in over 10 different countries and winning "Best Stand Up Comedy" at RVK Fringe 2025. Teddy's comedy veers from the profound to the inane with a fundamentally empathetic and optimistic view on life.

Toto Nguyen is not the band performing “Africa”. Born and raised in Hungary with Vietnamese parents, he’s a true combination of the Eastern European melancholy and Asian parents’ expectations. While he might be small, he’s a real ball of energy on stage!
At 15 Brian Mohally Willig left school and 40 years later his teachers were right, he’s still trying to be the funniest guy in the room. Sandwiched between the Boomers and Millennials, Brian is cursed with seeing both sides of an argument and with only his sense of humour to deal with it. Brian’s comedy is an honest and raw retelling from his family life, now that the children have grown and flown, he exposes their dirty laundry to get cheap laughs.
