Anna Chirescu, accompanied by Maryfé Singy and Baptiste Mayoraz, pay tribute to the women who shaped the history of Monte Verità. In costumes created by Anna Carraud, moving between dance, voice, costume, and vegetables the artists invoke the utopians of the «magnetic hill» in a celebration that is both sensual and irreverent.
Multilingual and polyphonic, the performance brings bodies and nature, gestures and narratives, fruits and voices into dialogue. Shared offerings, collective choreography, and humor form a joyful ritual in which the memory of utopias becomes living, festive matter, resonating with our collective future.
This performance, a prelude to a group piece (creation 2027), was conceived in response to the exhibition La scia del monte and the book Les voix magnétiques, produced by the MBAL Musée des Beaux-Arts Le Locle, following a commission by curator Federica Chiocchetti. It takes place again at Cabaret Voltaire, in the context of the exhibition «Suzanne Perrottet. After Dada, After Dance».
