Portfolio Career as founder

More and more founders are turning to models such as fractional founder or fractional co-founder. Instead of relying early on venture capital, these approaches enable flexible, lower-risk market validation with a clear strategic focus. At the same time, these careers  increasingly transform into portfolio careers - bringing new freedoms, but also new demands: prioritization, clear structure, and intentional energy management become central. A solid content and strategic foundation is key and portfolio Careers are also a journey to knowing yourself with your individual strengths, needs and purpose.

Andreia Fernandes has been working with portfolio careers for over a decade and has strategically supported numerous female founders through complex career and entrepreneurial phases. She founded her first start-up as an Impact Hub member and today runs the Portfolio Career Institute as part of her own portfolio career.  In her contribution, she presents concrete possibilities and alternatives and shows how modern career and entrepreneurial models can be rethought.
