Have you ever heard of the largest waterfalls in Europe? They are the Rhine Falls in Switzerland, near Schaffhausen! You will have the chance to admire them from the waterside, and for an even closer experience, a special boat tour arranged just for us will take you to the base of the falls. After enjoying the stunning water and natural scenery, we will explore the charming medieval town of Schaffhausen, known as one of Switzerland’s best-preserved historic towns. We might even see its impressive fortress.
This event will be an intersection, giving us the opportunity to spend the day with Exchange Students from Neuchâtel.
🗓️ What: Day trip to Rhine Waterfalls and Schaffhausen´s Old Town
⏰ When: 09.11.2025 🕘 We meet at 08:10 am, and will be back in Fribourg at 18:30 pm.
🚂 The train to Neuhausen Rheinfall leaves at at 08:26, so make sure to arrive earlier.
📍 Meeting Point: In front of the main entrance of Fribourg Train Station.
🎒 What to bring: Warm clothes is a must. You can also bring a rainjacket, or a disposable rain poncho. If you are having a picnic for lunch, don´t forget to bring it!
