It Goes On - A Song Cycle for Voice and String Quartet

An intimate song cycle for voice and string quartet, setting original music to the poetry of Robert Frost, Emily Dickinson, E. E. Cummings and others. The title comes from an interview with Frost, where he was asked what he had learned about life over his many years. His answer was just three words: "It goes on.“ The concert explores themes of grief, gratitude, mortality, and compassion, laced with the wry humour and quiet resilience that shine through in that simple reply.
With Robb Correll (voice, composition, arrangement) and string quartet. With Gabriel Vergelin Soler (violoncello, arrangement), Vincent Morris (violin, arrangement), Maria Kyrvei (violin) and Viviane Ruof (viola).
