UNDERSTANDING COFFEE ACIDITY
Balance is often considered a key quality of an enjoyable cup of coffee, yet it remains one of the most difficult attributes to define and measure. This is mostly because balance results from a complex interaction between aroma and taste, particularly bitterness and acidity.
Among these elements, acidity is the most flexible variable in shaping the overall flavour profile and can be influenced in a variety of ways. Explore how acidity contributes to balance in coffee and examine methods for adjusting it.
The ticket fee (CHF 30) of this talk is sponsored by ZHAW Coffee Excellence Center.
WHO IS IT FOR?
Coffee enthusiasts and professionals curious about acidity, flavour and balance in the cup.
