In this class, we’ll explore improvisation, musicality, and dancing with others. You’ll learn how to interact with the music, and create movement in the moment. We’ll work on finding different ways to interpret the music, play with rhythm and dynamics, and develop your own movement vocabulary. You’ll also practice the fundamentals of social dancing. How to connect with other dancers and communicate through movement to feel more comfortable improvising together. To join this class, you should be familiar with some basic Solo Jazz movements.
