In collaboration with BorderBooks – libri senza confini, Italians in Basel, Cozy Place Basel and the Chiasso Municipal Library
Abitare il mondo | Living this World is a literary series exploring departure, change, memory, belonging and return through contemporary Italian literature.
Born from the international and cross-border context of Basel, the project aims to create a space for dialogue between the Italian-speaking community, the Swiss public and the wider international cultural community.
The programme consists of seven encounters with Italian authors and writers, each centred around a key word:
I CHOOSE · I LEAVE · I KEEP · I WALK · I QUESTION MYSELF · I RETURN · I CARE
The aim is to promote Italian literature and culture in Switzerland through accessible conversations open to both Italian-speaking and international audiences.
