This particular one is loaded. Uranus has spent seven years in Taurus - the sign that opposes Scorpio, the sign of the body and the physical world and what you can count on - doing a slow relentless renovation of everything you thought was stable. Your body. Your money. Your sense of home in yourself. It's also Beltane, an old fire festival halfway between the spring equinox and midsummer, and the night before is Walpurgisnacht - historically the night women in this part of the world gathered to share knowledge, practice, and power. There will be people marching through Zürich for Labour Day. We'll be at Atman doing our own kind of gathering, on this particular night, in this particular city, right as the moon peaks above us.
It's Taurus season - sensory, warm, indulgent, everything in bloom - and that's not incidental to a Scorpio full moon, it's the whole point of this axis. Pleasure and sensation are how you get to the depth, not the thing you defer until after. We use that.
What is Zürich Moon Circle?
Zürich Moon Circle is a fortnightly gathering for women and femmes at Atman Studio, held on or close to each new and full moon and facilitated by Pia Simona - astrologer, somatic practitioner, and someone who has spent a long time thinking about why women gathering in a room together and doing something real is one of the most underrated things available to us.
The circles are grounded in practical astrology and somatic work. They are not therapy, not a yoga class, not a sound bath, not a lecture. They are something harder to categorise and usually better than any of those things.
No prior knowledge of astrology needed. No performing. No pressure to share anything you don't want to.
What happens in circle?
Every circle is shaped by that lunation's astrology and by who's in the room on the night. This one works with cord, with paper, with things made by hand and things that need finishing properly. You'll move, you'll make something to take home, you'll write something and mean it, and something will have been properly closed by the time you leave.
Some circles are quiet. Some are cathartic. Some are unexpectedly funny.
What to bring
Yourself, as you are. Comfortable clothes you can move in. A journal and pen if you like to write. A water bottle.
No experience needed. You just need to show up.
