In this workshop, we’ll explore monotype printing, a printmaking process that supports a wide range of mark-making approaches, from drawing and painterly gestures to working with texture, layering, and found materials. Participants will create and combine compositions using paper cutouts, Tetrapak, textured materials, and florals. Together, we will learn how to use the printing press, work with both oil-based and water-based inks, and explore color and composition.
All experience levels are welcome, and participants are encouraged to discover and develop their own unique approaches.
The workshop will be taught in English.
