The Keller Theatre: Auditions for "it's only murder"

The Keller Theatre invites you to audition for “it’s only murder”, a comedic murder mystery by Sam Bobrick.

When: Thursday, 9 April 2026 and Tuesday, 14 April 2026 at 7.30 pm

Where: Kleine Bühne, Bleichstraße 28, 35390 Gießen

We need…

-          Actors: 2 women and 2 men, late 20s to early 40s

-          Production helpers: assistant director/production assistant

Rehearsals will be Tuesday and Thursday evenings and some Saturday mornings.

Everybody is welcome, no experience or preparation is needed.

Performance dates: September/October 2026

About the play:

Sam Bobrick’s "it's only murder" is a comedic play about Jerome Teppel, a well-off accountant who discovers his new wife, Francine, bought a gun and is having an affair with their neighbor’s husband. Following these discoveries, the plot descends into a chaotic mix of betrayal, humor, a prison break, and a prune danish.
