Built in the 1970s to protect up to 20,000 people, the Sonnenberg bunker is still active today and is one of the world’s largest civilian shelters. On our guided tour, you’ll discover why it was built and explore fascinating spaces like the command post, emergency hospital, kitchen, and even detention cells — a real glimpse into life during the Cold War.
