BEYOND THE MAT: Content Creation Day for Facilitators

This special Beyond the Mat gathering is dedicated to one thing: helping each other become more visible.

As facilitators, teachers, healers, coaches, space holders, artists, and practitioners, many of us need photos and videos that authentically represent our work. Yet creating this kind of content often feels overwhelming, expensive, or simply never makes it to the top of the priority list.

This day is an invitation to change that together.

We will gather at the beautiful Yoga Scheune in Meilen and co-create photos and short videos that can be used for websites, social media, newsletters, WhatsApp profiles, flyers, and other promotional materials.

Whether you teach yoga, facilitate sound journeys, work with breath, bodywork, coaching, meditation, movement, ritual, or any other modality, this is an opportunity to stage and capture your work in a beautiful setting.

This is not a professional photoshoot.

Instead, it is a collaborative community event inspired by the spirit of the Beyond the Mat Teacher Circles. We support one another by taking photos, filming short clips, offering feedback, and helping create meaningful scenes.

Each participant will have dedicated time to showcase their work while receiving support from the group.

What to bring:

• Any tools, instruments, or materials needed for your offering
• Yoga mats, blocks, bolsters and basic yoga props are available on site
• Several clothing options (scarves, shirts, layers, makeup, accessories, etc.) to easily create variety in your images
• Your own food and water
• Flyers, business cards, or promotional materials if you would like to leave them at the table at Yoga Scheune
• Your own phonecamera and a willingness to be seen or capture

Community participation:

To make this day work, we need each other's support.
If you enjoy being part of staged scenes, wonderful. If you prefer not to appear in someone else's content, you can support by helping take photos or videos.

In other words: everyone contributes. You can be in front of the camera, behind the camera, or both. This is a co-created experience.

Donation-Based
Participation is donation-based. Donations will help cover the rental of the Yoga Scheune and the cleanup of the space afterward.

About Beyond the Mat

Beyond the Mat is my ongoing community project for facilitators of all kinds. We meet regularly to support one another through Teacher Circles, discussions, practical skill-sharing sessions, hands-on assists labs, digital tools workshops, and other collaborative gatherings.

This event is an extension of that vision: supporting each other not only through conversation, but through practical action.

I am truly looking forward to creating, collaborating, and making our work more visible together.

Dieses besondere Beyond the Mat Treffen widmet sich einem klaren Fokus: Wir unterstützen uns gegenseitig dabei, sichtbarer zu werden.

Als Facilitators, Lehrer:innen, Heiler:innen, Coaches, Raumhalter:innen, Künstler:innen und Praktizierende brauchen viele von uns Fotos und Videos, die unsere Arbeit authentisch widerspiegeln. Gleichzeitig ist es oft schwierig, genau dieses Material zu erstellen – es wirkt aufwendig, teuer oder rutscht einfach immer wieder nach hinten auf der Prioritätenliste.

Dieser Tag ist eine Einladung, das gemeinsam zu verändern.

Wir treffen uns in der wunderschönen Yoga Scheune in Meilen und erstellen gemeinsam Fotos und kurze Videos, die für Websites, Social Media, Newsletter, WhatsApp-Profile, Flyer und andere Sichtbarkeitskanäle genutzt werden können.

Egal ob du Yoga unterrichtest, Sound Journeys anleitest, mit Atem, Körperarbeit, Coaching, Meditation, Bewegung, Ritualen oder anderen Methoden arbeitest – dieser Tag bietet die Möglichkeit, deine Arbeit in einem schönen Setting sichtbar zu machen und festzuhalten.

Dies ist ausdrücklich kein professionelles Fotoshooting.

Stattdessen ist es ein gemeinschaftliches Format im Geist der Beyond the Mat Teacher Circles. Wir unterstützen uns gegenseitig beim Fotografieren, Filmen, Feedback geben und beim kreativen Gestalten von Szenen.

Jede Person bekommt ausreichend Zeit und Raum, das eigene Angebot zu zeigen und dabei von der Gruppe unterstützt zu werden.

Was du mitbringen darfst:

• Alles, was du für dein Angebot benötigst (Instrumente, Tools, Materialien etc.)
• Yogamatten, Blöcke, Bolster und grundlegendes Yoga-Material sind vor Ort vorhanden
• Mehrere Outfit-Optionen (Tücher, Shirts, Lagen, Accessoires etc.), um unkompliziert verschiedene Bildstimmungen zu erzeugen
• Eigenes Essen und Wasser
• Flyer, Visitenkarten oder Infomaterial, falls du etwas auf dem Tisch in der Yoga Scheune auslegen möchtest
• Dein eigenes Handy mit Kamerafunktion und die Bereitschaft, sichtbar zu werden oder andere zu fotografieren

Gemeinschaftliche Teilnahme:

Damit dieser Tag gelingt, brauchen wir einander.
Wenn du gerne Teil von inszenierten Szenen bist, wunderbar. Falls du nicht auf Bildern anderer erscheinen möchtest, kannst du die Gruppe unterstützen, indem du fotografierst oder filmst.

Kurz gesagt: Jede Person trägt etwas bei – vor der Kamera, hinter der Kamera oder beides. Es ist ein gemeinsam gestalteter Prozess.

Spendenbasis:

Die Teilnahme ist auf Spendenbasis. Die Beiträge helfen, die Miete der Yoga Scheune sowie die anschließende Reinigung des Raumes zu decken.

Über Beyond the Mat:

Beyond the Mat ist mein fortlaufendes Community-Projekt für Facilitators aller Art. Wir treffen uns regelmäßig in Teacher Circles, Austauschformaten, Hands-on-Assists-Labs, Workshops zu digitalen Tools und weiteren praxisorientierten Formaten.

Dieses Event ist eine Erweiterung dieser Vision: Wir unterstützen uns nicht nur im Gespräch, sondern auch ganz praktisch in der Umsetzung.
