Many parents want to help their child succeed academically—but it’s easy to slip into doing too much. This workshop focuses on how to support learning in ways that build independence, confidence, and long-term skills rather than frustration for everyone involved.
Together, we will explore:
-
How to recognise when learning breaks down and what to do next
-
Strategies for encouraging independence without stepping back too far
-
Ways to communicate valuable insights to the school to strengthen home–school collaboration
-
Practical executive functioning strategies, including organization, planning, time management, and task initiation
This session equips parents with clear, manageable strategies to help children take ownership of their learning—while parents remain supportive guides, not homework managers.
We aim to create a warm, interactive space — so we ask that cameras are on where possible. You’ll have opportunities to ask questions, although we won’t be able to provide detailed guidance for individual children during the session. Sharing experiences and participating in discussion makes the workshop more engaging and valuable for everyone involved.
