Join us for a fun ice skating session to wrap up the year! This event is one of the last events we do before the holidays and exams. Choose between free skating or join some lessons on basics and tricks if you want. We have a former figure skater among our ranks so don’t miss out! ⛸️✨
What?
Included in the ticket price is the entry fee, some free lessons and the rental fee for the shoes and a helmet. (We advise you to wear the helmet especially if you are a bloody beginner, but it’s not mandatory.)
When?
The Event will take place this Friday, 20th December from 15:00 til 17:00. It’s possible to stay longer though.
Meeting point is either 14:50 infront of Rice up (we will take the number 3 bus at 14:54) or directly at 15:00 at the busstation “Eishalle”
A small time table for orientation:
- 15:00-15:30 entering, pick up shoes and getting changed
- 15:30-16:00 Beginner course (Learn how to: Move slowly forward, break properly and danger free and how to get up and how to get up again if you fall)
- 16:00-16:15 Break
- 16:15-16:45 Ice breaker course (Learn how to: rossover forward and backwards, how to move on one leg and learn a small jump and a easy spin)
- 16:45-til open end (the rink closes at 21:45)

We will be on the outside rink of “Eisportanlage Deutweg” Grüzefeldstrasse 30, 8400 Winterthur
Don't forget to bring:
- Warm enough clothes especially gloves can help when you fall
- A beanie (the body does loose the most of the heat through the head)
- a thermos-cane with a hot drink if you want
- thin socks (more comfortable with skates)
