At Kimono Blossom, we bring the elegance and heritage of Japanese kimonos to a modern audience.
We strongly believe that vintage Kimonos can be incorporated into modern fashion. Breathing new life into originals from the early 1900s is our mission! We focus on showcasing kimonos that have been overlooked in Japan, due to change of lifestyles in the second half of the 20th century. 
We not only encourage you to try on the kimonos the traditional way, but also incorporate it in your wardrobe — in contrast to fast fashion industry. 

Usually, we transform these works of art into pieces that appeal to individuals who appreciate the intricacy of kimono making. But with this event for Konomi we offer a unique possibility to get dressed into these works of beauty. Should you always have wondered how to tie a Kimono properly, want to admire the intricacy of craftsmanship or just enjoy the beauty of it and take pictures of yourself: this is the perfect opportunity because we exclusively offer one-person-slots. Miki Iuchi-Sutton will focus on you only while selecting Kimonos, explaining their details and showing you how to dress!
