Improv Workshops & Community Jam with Laura Maynard

Join The Murderet for a special weekend of improv in Geneva, featuring Laura Maynard, full-time cast member and instructor at Boom Chicago (Amsterdam) and longtime Chicago improviser.

This weekend is designed to serve the whole improv community, from folks just starting out, players with mostly short-form experience to those beginning or deepening their long-form practice. Across three workshops, Laura focuses on transferable skills: connection, playfulness, confidence, and trusting your instincts on stage.

Alongside the workshops, we’re hosting a Community Jam Night on Saturday with a long form jam with the Saturday workshop participants, and a short form jam open to all. This will be the occasion to watch and play with folks of the community and Laura!

Workshops include:

• A full-day focused on Long Form

• An all-levels workshop focused on joyful, connected scene work

• A deep dive into starting scenes with confidence and fun

Whether you’re curious about long form, looking to strengthen your foundations, or simply want to reconnect with playful improv, this weekend is about learning together as a community.
