What KIND of event is this? Its a mix of social and cultural event: we are a cultural-exchange with so many people from different cultures, we promote Culture with Art exhibitions and Live Music, and also we revive the under-extinction

WHAT is Connection Space? Fun hangout events that create a "fixed" recurring homey environment for meeting new & old friends without any specific reasons (like interests, genders, age or countries). The event is that simple
WHAT is NOT Connection Space? NOT a drinks/party event (responsible drinking only, no shots, no free drinks). NOT a dating event. NOT foreigners-only, but everyone welcome
What KIND of event is this? Its a mix of social and cultural event: we are a cultural-exchange with so many people from different cultures, we promote Culture with Art exhibitions and Live Music, and also we revive the under-extinction culture of the Greek traditional village coffeeshop (Καφενείο - read more below).
WHERE idea comes from? When myself Christos was a kid, my granddad took me to the local Greek traditional village coffeeshop (called "Καφενείο" see photos HERE). Every neighbourhood had one, and people met, without an exaggeration, on a daily-basis. People met new and old friends, played games, socialised, ate snacks, drank coffee and ouzo. It was a lot fun! Unfortunately this concept is slowly dying in Greece. As a kid I had extremely good memories of these coffeeshops and for this reason I am passionate to recreate this environment with a 2025 twist.
WHO? Wir wollen gerne mehr Schweizer/innen dabei haben! Alle sind willkommen und die meisten können Deutsch sprechen. Not an expat event. Everyone welcome!
Mindful Connection Games: from The School of Life available: Confessions Game, The Friendship Game, Connection Game, The Loser Game, Games for grown-ups and three sets of "100 questions" (Conversation Toolkit & Careers & Relationships)
Fun Social Games: bring your own board/card games or choose from: Cards against humanity, Exploding Kittens, Codenames, Debatable, Sotally Tober, Taboo, Mafia, Uno, Monopoly and more.

TIPS on HOW TO CONNECT:
Look out for a good smile/vibe in a person/group of 2-3 people and say "Hi my name is xxx, can I join?".
Try something different (person, game, table, activity) often until you find fun quality connection
Ask Support: we understand going out to meet friends can be a stretch. We make this easy with a fun and safe event. Also ask help from our clearly communicated "People Connectors" who can help you discreetly to connect with others
Invest time(not quickly just come by) as friendships are an investment
Come back: big turnaround, people come randomly at each event, so you never know who you ll meet

ABOUT US:
Why we do this? we ❤️ uniting people while having fun!
What are these events? Free, offline, homey and fun events in order to meet new and existing friends without any specific filtering (like interests, genders, age groups) or process. It is that simple😀.
How talk to new people? we provide a fun social environment with different options for connection. We always have: a first-timer area, Fun social games, Mindful games, ice-breaker questions or simply sit or stand and talk to new people. Often we add: Speed-friending and a Music jam which make the event a bit like a mini festival with many options for you to choose from. Why we do this? We believe you are unique. And each of us prefers different ways of connection. Also we want to provide an opportunity for everyone to try something new :)
Easy and "Safe": We have the whole location reserved for us so its safe to open up and meet new friends (unlike bars in Zürich where people find it strange if strangers talk to them). Christos will also help with connection. Read more in "about us" below.

🥇 Optional first-timer area with ice-breaker questions (in case you want to talk to first-time attendees)
👭 At 19:30 Speed-friending in a separate private room. Guaranteed to meet many people. Simply spent a few minutes talking to one person, and then rotate to a new person. Moderated.
🎸 At 20:30 amazing LIVE music jam (in a separate private room). Feel free to join and play too
