Jeremy Freiburghaus - He was just a little boy when he stood on the driving range in Domat/Ems for the first time – barely three years old, a golf club in hand, by his father’s side, who still teaches there to this day. Back then, he had no idea that this simple moment would mark the beginning of a truly special journey.
What started as a childhood game quickly grew into a deep passion – and eventually, a profession. After several formative years on the national team, he took the leap into professional golf in 2019. It was the start of an intense, emotional, and transformative path.
He spent two years competing on the Pro Golf Tour, steadily earning his place until, in 2020, he secured playing rights for the Challenge Tour. There, he continued to grow – both personally and professionally. In his first season, he improved his status; in the second, he celebrated multiple top-10 finishes. Then came the emotional highlight: his first tournament win at the end of the season.
That victory fulfilled a dream he had carried since childhood – earning his Tour card for the 2023 season. A young boy with big dreams had taken one giant step closer to living them.

Schon als kleiner Junge stand er mit leuchtenden Augen auf der Driving Range in Domat/Ems – kaum drei Jahre alt, den Schläger in der Hand, an der Seite seines Vaters, der ihn bis heute begleitet und dort unterrichtet. Damals ahnte er noch nicht, dass dieser Moment der Anfang einer ganz besonderen Reise sein würde.
Was als Kinderspiel begann, wurde schnell zur Leidenschaft – und schließlich zum Beruf. Nach vielen prägenden Jahren in der Nationalmannschaft wagte er 2019 den Schritt ins Profilager. Es war der Start einer intensiven, lehrreichen und emotionalen Reise.
Zwei Jahre kämpfte er sich durch die Pro Golf Tour, bis er sich 2020 seinen Platz auf der Challenge Tour erspielte. Dort entwickelte er sich weiter, sammelte wertvolle Erfahrungen – und Erfolge: In seiner ersten Saison verbesserte er seinen Status, in der zweiten feierte er mehrere Top-10-Platzierungen. Der emotionale Höhepunkt: sein erster Turniersieg zum Jahresende.
Mit diesem Sieg erfüllte sich ein Traum, den er seit Kindheitstagen im Herzen trug – die Tourkarte für die Saison 2023. Ein kleiner Junge mit großen Zielen ist seinem Traum ein großes Stück nähergekommen.
