Doors open at 18:30 on the 19th June with free food, and the English stand-up comedy show starts at 20:00. You can join us at any point of the night!

Register for tickets via Eventfrog or just turn up on the day. It's a pay-what-you-want event at the end, so you can contribute what you feel the show was worth.

🎭 About the Performers

Toto Nguyen
Toto is not the band performing "Africa". Born and raised in Hungary with Vietnamese parents, he's a true combination of Eastern European melancholy and Asian parents' expectations. While he might be small, he's a real ball of energy on stage!

Albert Louw
Albert brings his mad world to the stage. Born and raised in Johannesburg, South Africa, he is filled with unusual tales and an odd perspective on life. His performances, like his clothes, are psychedelic, energetic, and eccentric - covering everything from tales of wildlife to the origins of civilization.

Ruth Montano
Imported from Bolivia, Ruth is a master of deception. With an angelic voice, she lures you into a world of dark humor, exposing the chaos of her personal life. By day, she pokes at brains in the lab, and by night, she tries to fry them on stage. Ler her name not deceive you, because her comedy is nothing but ruthless. 

Fairis Osman
@fairisosman is a Malaysian living in Switzerland. From a very young age, he was a shy person but was constantly laughed at. To relive that experience, he started doing stand-up comedy. He regularly performs in Basel, Bern, and Zurich. A former Comedy Basel Champion, he's trying to change the world, one joke at a time.

Ivan Semashev
Ivan is a comedian, actor, and producer based in Basel, Switzerland. While starting out in theatre, he dove into stand-up comedy in 2018 and has been pursuing it ever since. Ivan is energetic, passionate, and has a vast sense of humor - from contemporary satire to personal family anecdotes (some of which may even veer into darker places). Whatever the topic is, be prepared to be taken on an emotional roller coaster of laughs!

Paulina Pathare
Paulina is a mixed bag of nationalities and humor. She started her journey on stage with theatre and improv until she finally heeded the siren call of stand-up comedy in 2021. They joke about their Indian-Polish family life, being queer, mental health, and world history. One day, they will also become pope. From silly to interesting to dark and twisted, Paulina will take you by the hand and make sure you enjoy the wild ride through her thoughts.
