Two figures orbit each other across time, across screens, across silence. One speaks with a body, the other only with a face made of light.
Two of them in one bed. He's sleeping. And she's not.
Club music. Club lights. A question lost somewhere in there. Both of them dance. A marriage drifts through absence: a child gone, a bed cold, lips meeting strangers. But deeper still—beneath the music, beneath the letters never sent—is a question of becoming. Of softness. Of scent. Of what it means to feel like a woman. To long as one.
Based on Joyce’s Ulysses, but no longer Joyce’s. Just echoes now. Just fragments, monologues, sirens, and songs.
He said she was a flower. Because he understood or felt what being a woman is.
