Quasarborn aus Serbien vermochten mit "Novo oružje protiv bola" Fans und Presse gleichermassen zu begeistern.

Die Local Heroes Comaniac stehen dem in nichts nach und räumten mit "None for All" mächtig ab.

Quasarborn

Quasarborn was formed in 2016 by Luka Matković (guitars, vocals), Marko Danilović Tihi (drums), Miloš Tomasović (bass) and Đorđe Luković (guitars). The quartet has played numerous shows and tours together in the Serbian thrash metal band Space Eater, but decided to quit and form a band of their own due to artistic differences. Partially still influenced by old school thrash metal, Quasarborn tries to incorporate many different styles of music into their songs.

"The Odyssey to Room 101", the band’s debut album, came out in May 2018 and was well recieved among fans of technical thrash metal worldwide, while "A Pill Hard to Swallow", released in January 2020 was the band's first dive into a more melodic and versatile style.

"Novo oružje protiv bola" ("A New Weapon Against Pain"), the band's third album (and the first one in their native language) was released on May 10th 2023. "Novo oružje protiv bola" showcases the band's versatility in songwriting and their love of crossing genre boundaries and was one of the most appreciated Thrash Metal albums of 2023!

Comaniac

For over ten years the so called „Thrash Metal Revival“ stood for uninspired copying of legendary bands in the genre. Finally the time has come for a contemporary interpretation of the most versatile metal genre there is. Clear the stage for COMANIAC.

After being crowned as „THE Thrashhighlight 2015“ with their debut album „Return To The Wasteland“ it was their second offering „Instruction For Destruction“ (2017) which sent them around the globe with several tours in Europe and Japan with bands like METAL CHURCH, OVERKILL and DR. LIVING DEAD and led to the Single release "The Spirit Of The Failed" for the Japan CD edition of "Instruction For Destruction" in 2018.

While the band name COMANIAC is put together from the two words „company“ and „maniac“ the third album „Holodox“ (2020) is deviated from the prefix „holo“ (greek: holos, whole) and the suffix „dox“ (greek: dox, opinion). Holodox stands for a person's final belief, an idea to answer all questions, a rise from personal stuggle onto a meta-level. This album produced by Tommy Vetterli (CORONER). In 2023 followed the highly acclaimed new album "None for All".
