Co-Writing entwickelte sich für DANA von einer Unmöglichkeit zu einer Challenge und schlussendlich zu einer Lieblingstätigkeit. Für ihr zweites Album lag der Fokus auf Songwriting Sessions mit weiblichen Musikerinnen, unter anderem mit Teya, Joya Marleen und Elsie Bay. Allgegenwärtig ist DANAs Händchen für extrem persönliche Songs, welche thematisch von Frauenrechten über das Überwinden einer Essstörung bis hin zu toxischen Beziehungen reichen und dabei nie ihren Hoffnungsschimmer verlieren.

A JOURNEY FROM THE ANDES TO THE SEA
La Sudaka represents the musical identity of the southernmost part of the world, singing to their homeland and to its characters. The journey of La Sudaka takes on with the mystical and empowering chant of the icy mountains and continues with the roaring and polyrythmic grooves of the grasslands. Arriving into the harbor, the sombre and stylish melodies of tango meet the music that descends from the ships, connecting a globalized world with the roots of argentine culture.
