This transcultural music ensemble, led by Gürkan Karacan, blends the tonal colours of Anatolia with contemporary funk grooves — sometimes powerful and rhythmic, sometimes emotional and full of feeling.
The soul of the Bağlama (saz) breathes a mystical, poetic depth into this mosaic, while Turkish and Swiss folk songs are reimagined through electronic elements into danceable vessels of hope. The resulting sound is unique, rooted neither in East nor West, but firmly grounded in the present — in a reality that seeks its origins while simultaneously unfolding in boundless expanses.
