Join us in this Breathwork and Meditation evening dedicated to exploring “The Felt Sense.” Through a series of practices, including Breathwork and Meditation, we will explore the depths of our psyche and reconnect to our body.

CARDIOVASCULAR DISEASE ,DETACHED RETINA OR GLAUCOMA ,DIAGNOSED BRAIN OR ABDOMEN ANEURYSM , EPILEPSY, DIAGNOSED BIPOLAR OR SCHIZOPHRENIA, UNCONTROLLED DIABETES OR THYROID CONDITIONS , HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE , PREGNANCY.

Connecting Exercises: We will start with exercises aimed at fostering self-connection and group connection. This helps create safety in the group
Exploration: Through different meditation, breathing and other exercises we will explore the topic of the session.
Breathwork: A one hour breathwork session will allow us to deepen our experience while mantaining bodily awareness and mindfulness.

About the Topic:
It feels to me that it is hard to understand what the felt sense is. Rather than define it, the best is to experience it yourself. In fact, you are experiencing it at every moment, all you need to do is bring your awareness to it. In order to experience it, I like to bring my awareness to my bodily sensations, or in other words to the constant physical events that our nervous system is continuously processing.
We can either focus on the sensations of the outside world (exteroception) or the ones from our internal world (interoception). Through a larger vocabulary for describing our sensations we can become more sensitive to our own body. It is not a mental game of conceptualising our sensations, but rather a way of expanding our awareness about our sensations.
Through staying in touch with our sensations, we are able to give our mind a rest and be in the present moment. As we become more and more capable to be in the present moment and with the sensations in our bodies, we become more able to deal with our emotions.
