What is the difference between event groups and event series?

An event group is generally used to summarise several events. As the organiser, you decide how a group is put together in the cockpit.

For example, if you would like to organise several culinary evenings with different cuisines, you can create an event for each culinary evening and link it to the other events of this type via the event group.

Event series, on the other hand, are particularly suitable for displaying the same event on different dates. For example, if your location has a salsa night on the first Friday of every month, you can convert the salsa night into a series when you create the event and display it in the calendar.

Even if you present events as a series or group, each event must be published individually.
