All codes at one glance: what is each feature for?

With the new discount codes and friendslists, you now have more options for customising your events, inviting VIP guests and managing special offers. To help you keep track of everything, we explain the three code features below, and when it is best to use each one.

What is it?
Discount codes grant price reductions in CHF or %. Combined with a direct link, you can display them as a Friendslist and present them in a personalised way (with image & text).

Typical use cases:

  • Discount promotions & social media campaigns
  • Influencer or crew codes
  • Friend discounts via direct link with visible notice

Access keys – Protect hidden categories

What is it?
An access key locks specific ticket categories (e.g. VIP or Member). Only those who know the key can see and book them.

Typical use cases:

  • VIP or crew tickets
  • Member or sponsor areas
  • Internal presales

Highlights:

  • Categories are completely invisible without the key
  • Limits possible per key (e.g. max. tickets per person)
  • Direct links supported: accessCode=YOURCODE

Codes on tickets – Individual codes for external systems

What is it?
With this feature, an individual code is printed on each purchased ticket – for example for access control, prize draws or partner goodies.

Typical use cases:

  • Cashback or voucher promotions with partners
  • VIP lounges or cloakrooms with code-based access
  • Merchandise or afterparty entry via ticket

Highlights:

  • Code appears on the ticket & in the confirmation email
  • Can be linked to URLs (e.g. redeem a code)
  • Codes can be uploaded (Excel) or generated automatically
