Am 24. Januar 1975 wurde in der Kölner Oper Musikgeschichte geschrieben: Keith Jarrett improvisierte übermüdet trotz widrigster Umstände auf einem Stützflügel; Der Mitschnitt war eigentlich nur für interne Zwecke gedacht – heute ist die daraus entstandene ECM-Aufnahme die meisterkaufte Klavier-Soloplatte der Welt. Es erklingt jetzt das Köln Concert in Aachen in der Citykirche, interpretiert von der jungen Pianistin Rafaela Oliveira aus Portugal, deren Begeisterung für Keith Jarrett schon sehr früh entflammte und die bis heute in mehreren Konzerten das Köln Concert gespielt hat.
