Kern & Schale is a non-profit platform for art and cultural activism.

We are a diverse group of volunteers who believe in the power of art to speak truth and spark change.

With deep honor, we dedicate this platform to the Palestinian people — to uplift their spirit, elevate their struggle for freedom, and affirm that their legacy will not be one of tragedy alone, but of enduring heritage, profound dignity, and the historic struggle for humanity’s liberation.

PROGRAM

1. 47SOUL
The iconic Palestinian-Jordanian band behind the "Shamstep" movement, fusing Levantine dabke with hip-hop, electronica, and funk. Their unmistakable sound, infectious energy, and political and philosophical lyricism — performed seamlessly in Arabic and English — transcend borders and resonate with audiences worldwide. Returning to Zurich for the third time, they arrive at a moment when their voice, spirit, and message are needed most.

Band:
Tareq Abu Kwaik (El Far3i) — vocals, darbuka, electronics
Ramzy Suleiman (Z the People) — vocals, synths
Hamza Arnaout (El Jehaz) — guitar, electronics

2. BADIAA BOUHRIZI
Award-winning Tunisian artist Badiaa Bouhrizi brings KahruMusiqa — an immersive blend of electro-acoustic sound, poetic lyrics, and performative storytelling. Known as the voice of
