Der Wettinger Singkreis entführt Sie in die klangvollen und atmosphärischen Werke der nordischen Komponisten Ola Gjeilo und Mårten Jansson.

Mårten Jansson
Per Mårten Evert Jansson, geboren am 25. Oktober 1965 in Uppsala, ist ein schwedischer Komponist und Chorleiter. Er komponiert vorwiegend geistliche Chormusik. Seine Werke geniessen hohes internationales Ansehen und werden weltweit aufgeführt.

Ola Gjeilo
Ola Gjeilo (*1978) ist ein norwegischer Pianist und Komponist. Typisch für seine Chorwerke sind dichte Klangteppiche aus mehrstimmigen Clustern und lange geschichtete Akkorde mit langen Vorhalten oder Überhalten einzelner Stimmen. Bei begleiteten Werken finden sich teilweise schnelle repetierende Muster in den Instrumentalstimmen. Er verwendet häufig Texte aus der lateinischen Kirchenmusiktradition für seine Kompositionen.
