Mehltau ist eine Sammelbezeichnung für verschiedene durch Pilze verursachte Pflanzenkrankheiten. Ein schönes Wort für eine hässliche Sache. Poetisch, eindringlich, aufrichtig — Mehltau, die Band um Dramaturg, Autor und Sänger Béla Rothenbühler, besticht mit ihrem ganz eigenen Entwurf von Deutschrock. Mehltau spielen leidenschaftliche Lieder über die grossen und kleinen Untergänge, Machtlosigkeit und Lichtblicke, mal lakonisch, mal offenherzig.
